POCATELLO - Some snow fell in the Pocatello area on Saturday, but much more is in the forecast for the next few days.
The Idaho State Journal reports that the National Weather Service issued a special weather alert about systems that are expected to dump several inches of snow on East Idaho's higher and lower elevations.
Forecasters say the first storm will hit Sunday night and continue through Monday morning, possibly making the morning commute hazardous.
Lowland areas like Pocatello, Idaho Falls, American Falls, Blackfoot and Rexburg will likely see a rain-snow mix from this storm.
But all regions will get a significant amount of snow from the next storm. It will hit East Idaho late Monday and continue until Wednesday.
