BOISE, Idaho — Spring showers could bring May turns up at Bogus Basin, where the rain in the Valley fell as several inches of snow.
The ski area is reporting temperatures just above freezing, with a 60-inch base depth remaining on the mountain.
Bogus Basin, like many other Idaho ski resorts, officially ended the spring season back in March over concerns about coronavirus. Ski lifts are not running, and the lodges, rentals, and other services have been closed down.
Conditions are looking much less frosty down in the Treasure Valley, which got a half-inch to an inch of rain, according to the National Weather Service.
More rain showers are expected throughout Wednesday, with decreasing showers into Wednesday night. Dryer and warmer conditions will roll back in by the weekend, with temperatures climbing into the 70's by Sunday.
