BOISE, Idaho — A Wednesday morning storm brought rain and wind gusts to the Treasure Valley. Several KTVB viewers shared videos of the stormy weather.
The wind knocked down at least one tree in a Nampa neighborhood.
"South Nampa wind gusts are STRONG! Neighbors tree in our yard," Miranda Oswald posted on Facebook, along with photos of the toppled tree.
A wind advisory is in effect between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. Wednesday for the Treasure Valley. According to the National Weather Service, gusts could hit up to 45 mph.

The NWS told residents to make sure outdoor objects were secure and warned of possible downed limbs and minor property damage.
Travelers should also use caution, especially if driving a high-profile vehicle like an RV or a semi-truck.
Idaho Power reported several outages affecting several hundred people in Boise, Mountain Home and Kuna. All those outages have since been been resolved.
