BOISE -- It's a heart breaker for local fans of Pat Benatar who had been scheduled to perform at the Western Idaho Fair later this month. Fair officials announced Monday that Benatar and her guitarist husband Neil Giraldo canceled the show due to medical reasons.
The couple has been on their 35th anniversary tour this year and were set to perform at Expo Idaho on Friday, August 28.
Fair officials say they're working to secure a replacement act for that date.
There are several other concerts planned for fair week:
- Jerrod Neimann on Tuesday, August 25.
- Theory of Deadman on Wednesday, August 26
- Gary Allan on Thursday, August 27
Concert admission is included with fair admission.
