BOISE, Idaho — A man has been given a citation for groping a woman on the Boise Greenbelt. Boise Police said 50-year-old Aaron Brown not only received a citation for sexual battery, but he was also arrested for a warrant for a parole violation on July 19.
Boise State University Department of Public Safety Team also released a statement confirming the arrest and thanking the community.
"Following yesterday’s sexual battery incident on the Boise Greenbelt, the Boise Police Department swiftly identified a suspect," stated the university. "The suspect was arrested and booked into the Ada County Jail. Thanks for the cooperation of the Boise State community, along with the wider Boise area community, who provided valuable information through call."
As KTVB previously reported, a woman was sexually assaulted by a man while walking on the Boise Greenbelt under the Capitol Village Bridge. According to the Boise Police Department (BDP) and Boise State University, the woman was assaulted by a man riding a bike on Thursday, July 18 around 10:17 a.m.
