BOISE, Idaho — On Friday, the bond was set for the 24-year-old man who was shot by police after a high-speed chase in early August.
An Ada County judge set Jeremiah Bainbridge's bond at $1 million. He will be required to wear a GPS unit and be barred from possessing firearms. His next court appearance is set for Sept. 20.
Bainbridge is facing several charges, including grand theft, fleeing police and robbery. He is the suspect in an Aug. 1 incident, where police allege he started two police pursuits after he left the scene of a possible fight.
As previously reported by KTVB, police were called to Eagle Road and Overland Road with reports of a fight. The suspect, Bainbridge, allegedly left the scene, creating a police pursuit. Officers lost the vehicle, but Kuna Police were able to locate the car, where another pursuit began.
While being followed by police, the suspect called dispatch and said he had a gun.
The chase ended at the on-ramp to Interstate-84 and Meridian Road, where an officer was able to perform a PIT maneuver and stop the suspect's car.

Verbal commands were given to the suspect of the car and then shots were fired. An Ada County spokesperson said three Kuna police deputies fired their weapons, striking the suspect.
Officials have confirmed that the suspect had a weapon, but it's unclear if he fired it.
The suspect was taken to the hospital in critical condition and no officers were injured.
Boise Police Department will be assigned as the lead agency for the Critical Incident Task Force investigating the incident.
