BOISE, Idaho — Idaho State Police say a 20-year-old Nampa man has died after a three-vehicle crash that involved a truck pulling a cattle trailer at an intersection north of Middleton Thursday afternoon.

The crash happened around 3:54 p.m. at the intersection of Galloway Road and Old Highway 30 in Canyon County.

Investigators say 32-year-old Tesia Hyde of Burley was westbound on Galloway Road in a 2016 Jeep Patriot when she failed to stop at the stop sign.

Ramon Aispuro Silva of Nampa was driving northbound on Old Highway 30 in a 2006 Toyota Scion and struck the Jeep, sending it off the roadway.

Meanwhile, 67-year-old Louis Higby of Payette was driving southbound on Old Highway 30 in a 2018 Ram 350 pickup, pulling a 2011 Sooner trailer loaded with cattle. The truck hit the Toyota, sending both vehicles off the highway.

Aispuro Silva died from his injuries at the scene. Police say he was wearing a seatbelt.

Hyde was taken by ground ambulance to West Valley Medical Center in Caldwell.  She was wearing a seatbelt.

Police say Higby was not wearing a seatbelt. His passenger, 58-year-old Jo Ann Higby of Payette, was injured and taken by ambulance to St. Luke's Nampa Medical Center. She was wearing a seatbelt.

The investigating is ongoing.
