BOISE, Idaho — Two people were taken to the hospital after a three-vehicle crash south of Gooding Friday evening that involved a Gooding County deputy.
According to Idaho State Police, around 7:44 p.m., a juvenile driving a 1983 Chevy pickup was in the southbound lane on State Highway 46 waiting to turn into a residential area when his truck was struck in the rear by a 2007 Mercedes K63 driving by 31-year-old Eugenia Wadsworth of Twin Falls.
Wadsworth then hit a northbound 2017 Ram F150 pickup driven by a Gooding County deputy.
All three vehicles came to rest on road, completely blocking the highway.

The juvenile was taken by ambulance to North Canyon Medical Center in Gooding. Wadsworth was also taken to the same hospital by a patrol vehicle. The deputy was not injured in the crash.
Highway 46 was blocked to all traffic for about one hour and 45 minutes.
Police say alcohol was involved.
Idaho State Police was assisted by Gooding Fire, Gooding EMS, the sheriff's office and Idaho Transportation Department.
