BOISE, Idaho — Ada County Parks and Waterways announced Monday that construction will begin on portions of the greenbelt.
On Sept. 9, the Ada County - Barber Valley/Warm Springs Greenbelt Pathway project will kick off the start of construction season on the greenbelt. The project involves milling and replacing 3,500 linear feet of cracked and damaged asphalt, with a wider, safer asphalt with centerline striping, Ada County Parks and Waterways said.
It's a two-phase project, that is expected to be wrapped up by the end of October.
Closures and detours will be present. Pay attention to signage and barricades during construction.
Ada County Parks and Waterways reminds greenbelt users that for the safety of construction crews, never enter a closed or barricaded area.
