NAMPA, Idaho β The Idaho Foodbank will be holding a Nampa Food Distribution event at the Ford Idaho Center on Wednesday, Nov. 13. The event will last from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., or until food runs out.
The Idaho Foodbank will be distributing food for free Wednesday. There are no requirements to be eligible to receive food, according to foodbank's website.

In January, the group held a similar distribution event also found at the Ford Idaho Center.
The Idaho Foodbank opened in 1984 with a mission of combatting food insecurity in Idaho. According to The Idaho Foodbank, 220,990 Idahoans experiences food insecurity in 2022. One in nine Idahoans experienced food insecurity.
In Southwest Idaho alone, 114,780 people experienced food insecurity in 2022, making up 12% of the population in the region.
