NAMPA, Idaho — A Nampa boy who was missing for more than a month has been found safe, Nampa Police announced on Thanksgiving Day.
Antonio Varela Jr., 15, had left his home in downtown Nampa early on Oct. 22, police said. A missing persons report was filed on Tuesday.
At that point, the police department released the teen's photo and asked for help figuring out where he was. Nampa Police wrote in a tweet the department was "so thankful" Varela Jr. had been located.
Information about where the 15-year-old was found has not been released.
