BOISE, Idaho — Two weeks of regular season action remains in the 6A Southern Idaho Conference and two teams in each division stand 3-0 in league play. The standings are set to shift in Week 7.
No. 1 Rocky Mountain hosts Middleton in a showdown between Foothills Division leaders Friday night. The Grizzlies are averaging 49.8 points and giving up 10 per game. The Vikings topped Timberline last week for their third straight win.
The 5A SIC's two undefeated squads – top-ranked Bishop Kelly and Vallivue – collide Friday in Boise, while Nampa looks to keep pace in the standings as it welcomes Ridgevue.
Top-three teams in the 4A rankings meet in Week 7 as No. 1 Fruitland visits No. 3 Homedale. The Grizzlies climbed into the top spot after a 41-7 win over Payette and Weiser's 30-6 upset of the previously top-ranked Trojans.
