BOISE, Idaho — A roller coaster prep season continued Tuesday as three new teams climbed into the No. 1 spot in their classification in the Idaho high school football state media poll.

The latest rankings mark the fifth straight week with at least one new top-ranked team, with different No. 1 squads in the 5A, 3A and 2A classifications. Four new faces appeared in Tuesday's media poll, including Kimberly, who defeated previous No. 4 Buhl in Week 8

Skyline secured the top 5A spot following its 35-14 victory over defending state champion Highland. The Grizzlies surpassed Bishop Kelly, who sat at No. 1 in the media poll for the entire season until Tuesday.

At the 3A level, Declo claimed the throne after West Side's 14-12 win over previously top-ranked Aberdeen. The 2A rankings also welcomed a new leader in Logos, who ended Kendrick's 31-game winning streak with a 30-18 road victory.
