BOISE, Idaho — Albertsons Stadium is set to play host to arguably the biggest Mountain West football game of the year as Boise State welcomes Air Force to The Blue at 2 p.m. Friday.

Three weeks ago, the Falcons improved to 8-0 on a freight train to the conference title game, while the idea of playing for the trophy seemed impossible to a Bronco team that dropped to 4-5 for the first time since 1997. Now, the rivals are in the same spot in the race to play on Dec. 2.

To get an up-close look at players and coaches on the field ahead of kickoff, and to catch up on the madness surrounding the Mountain West standings, gear up for game time with KTVB Sports Director Jay Tust and Sports Reporter Brady Frederick on the official TV station for Bronco Nation!

The Bronco Roundup Game Day Show airs from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Friday on KTVB Channel 7, KTVB.COM, KTVB+ on Roku, Apple TV and Amazon Fire TV, and the KTVB mobile app.

The exclusive pre-game show provides an in-depth preview, hits on matchup storylines and includes interviews with Boise State leaders and former players. Tust and Frederick will be live from the sidelines of The Blue with last-minute injury updates and showcasing the sights and sounds from a jam-packed Albertsons Stadium.

If UNLV defeats San Jose State on Saturday, the winner of Friday's battle in Boise would earn a spot in the Mountain West championship game and UNLV would earn the right to host the game at Allegiant Stadium. If the Spartans upset the Rebels, it would create a three-way tie with Friday's winner, which would be settled by a computer algorithm to determine the top-two teams.

Bottom line – Boise State needs a Black Friday win to potentially play for the throne. The contest also marks senior day for sixth-year standouts like tight end Riley Smith, linebacker DJ Schramm and defensive end Demitri Washington. It will be an electric environment to say the least.

Boise State is favored by 6.5 in the Black Friday matchup with Air Force. The contest kicks off at 2 p.m. and will be televised on Fox Sports 1 (FS1). The Broncos are looking to claim their third consecutive win and second under interim head coach Spencer Danielson, while the Falcons are hoping to end a three-game skid.

KTVB will live stream Boise State's post-game press conference on KTVB.COM, the KTVB YouTube channel, KTVB+ and the KTVB mobile app immediately following the game. Fans will hear from Danielson and select Bronco players.

Post-game interviews will also be posted online shortly after the press conference ends, so Bronco Nation can watch whenever and wherever they want.
