IDAHO, USA — After the Boise State Broncos defeated the University of Hawai'i's Rainbow Warriors on Oct. 12, 28-7, the Broncos climbed even higher in the Associated Press Top 25 Poll and rose three points in the Coaches Poll.

"It marks the first time since the final 2019 rankings that Boise State has been ranked in the top 20 in both polls. That year, the Broncos finished 18th in both major polls and 19th in the CFP rankings," stated a news release.

Coming in at 15, it's the closest the team has been to their all-time highest AP Poll ranking, at 14, since 2019.

"Boise State has the nation’s third-best scoring offense (46.8 ppg) and third-ranked total offense (523.0 ypg) to compile a 5-1 (2-0 MW) record this season. The only demerit on the slate so far was a 37-34 decision at then-No. 7/6 Oregon as the Ducks hit a field goal as time expired to escape the Bronco threat," stated the release. "Following last night’s win, the Blue and Orange are now 116-21 (.847) while ranked by the AP, the best record of any team over the past 40 years."

The team received 597 points in this week’s poll, an increase of 134 votes from last week.
