BOISE, Idaho — Start planning Bronco Nation – kickoff dates and times have arrived for the 2024 Boise State football schedule. National television packages were announced Thursday for the Mountain West, Big Ten and Sun Belt.
Three of Boise State's games have been moved to Friday, including the regular-season finale against Oregon State at Albertsons Stadium. The Broncos and Beavers will battle in FOX's Big Noon Game at 10 a.m. MT on Friday, Nov. 29.
The Black Friday bout is one of 10 games set to air on a FOX network – FOX, Fox Sports 1 and Fox Sports 2 – or CBS Sports Network this season. The first two matchups of the 2024 campaign are coming to different channels.
Boise State's season opener at Georgia Southern kicks off on ESPNU at 2 p.m. MT on Saturday, Aug. 31. The Broncos also announced a home-and-home series with fellow Sun Belt squad App State on Thursday, with games in 2025 and 2027.
The massive week two matchup at Oregon will air on Peacock. The Broncos battle the Ducks inside Autzen Stadium at 8 p.m. MT on Saturday, Sept. 7 prior to a bye week.
Boise State's home opener on The Blue against Portland State is scheduled for 7:45 p.m. MT on Saturday, Sept. 21. The non-conference contest will air on Fox Sports 1.
After facing the Vikings, the Broncos will stay in the City of Trees for back-to-back games against Washington State (Saturday, Sept. 28) and Utah State (Saturday, Oct. 5). Both matchups will air on a FOX network, with exact channels and kickoff times being announced roughly 12 days prior to kickoff.
CBS Sports Network plays host to Boise State's next two Mountain West games, starting with a road trip to Hawai'i at 9 p.m. MT on Saturday, Oct. 12.
The Broncos have a bye before visiting UNLV in a rematch of last year's conference title game. Boise State heads to the Sin City for the first Friday game of the fall at 8:30 p.m. MT on Oct. 25.
The turn of the calendar brings the second Friday night contest, with San Diego State coming to Albertsons Stadium at 6 p.m. MT on Nov. 1 on Fox Sports 1. Boise State then hosts Nevada on Saturday, Nov. 9, with kickoff time and FOX Sports network to be announced.
Prior to the Oregon State matchup, Boise State will play back-to-back road games against conference opponents on CBS Sports Network. The Broncos visit San Jose State at 5 p.m. MT on Saturday, Nov. 16, before playing at Wyoming at 5 p.m. MT on Saturday, Nov. 29.
The Mountain West Conference earlier this month announced the football championship game is shifting to Friday this season for the first time in league history. The move came after FOX Sports unveiled its full schedule of Friday college football games, which includes the 2024 title game at 6 p.m. MT on Dec. 6.
This marks the fifth-straight season the Mountain West finale will be nationally televised on FOX. The team with the highest winning percentage in conference games will once again serve as the host. Boise State has played in six of the last seven championship games, and seven of 11 overall.
