BOISE, Idaho — The Mountain West on Thursday unveiled its 2024 football schedule, laying out dates for each conference game in Boise State's loaded upcoming campaign.
Washington State is set to visit The Blue on Sept. 28 as part of the league's scheduling alliance with the lone remaining members of the Pac-12. The matchup marks the second contest of the season at Albertsons Stadium, one week after Boise State hosts Portland State.
Arguably the most significant note of Thursday's release is the Broncos' home game against Oregon State now lands of Saturday, Nov. 30 – serving as senior night and the regular season finale.
The matchup was previously expected to take place on Sept. 7, the weekend Boise State will now travel to Autzen Stadium to square off with Oregon. In December, it was announced that the Broncos and Ducks three-game series was converted to two games, both in Eugene.
Boise State has its first of two byes the weekend of Sept. 14 following back-to-back road trips. The Broncos make their home debut against the Vikings on Sept. 21, and remain in the City of Trees to host the Cougars and Utah State on Oct. 5.
The second bye week is set for mid-October, sandwiched between away matchups with Hawai'i in Honolulu (Oct. 12) and UNLV in Sin City (Oct. 26).
November's slate features consecutive conference battles on The Blue against San Diego State and Nevada, followed by back-to-back road contests in sunny San Jose and the cold of Laramie, Wyoming.
Thursday's release is the initial phase in the 2024 football scheduling process. The Mountain West's national television partners in CBS Sports and FOX Sports will now go through the selection steps, which includes the potential shift of games to non-Saturday dates.
Each game is currently scheduled for Saturday, but is subject to change. After the selection procedure, kickoff times and network outlets will be identified.

The matchups during the Mountain West's 2023-2025 schedule rotation were adjusted to ensure each program had four home games and four games on the road with the addition of a Pac-12 opponent.
The Broncos' matchup with New Mexico was dropped in order to fit Washington State on the 2024 schedule. The two teams with the highest Mountain West winning percentage will meet in the conference championship game.
