MOUNTAIN HOME, Idaho — People who love to fish may be happy to hear that 52,000 rainbow trout fish were recently stocked at C.J. Strike Reservoir near Mountain Home. The fish are stocked bi-annually through a partnership between Idaho Power and The idaho Department of Fish and Game (IDFG).
"At Idaho Power, we stand firm in our commitment to caring for the environment and balancing production of clean hydropower with abundant natural resources in Idaho and eastern Oregon. We are dedicated to better understanding the effects our facilities have on aquatic life and the Snake River's ecosystem,' the company states on its website.
