As previously reported by KTVB, Vasquez, a 37-year-old, was arrested and charged on April 3, alleging he had inappropriate relations with a minor for several months. The Nampa Police Department (NPD) was concerned there could be more victims.

During his video arraignment on April 4 of this year, the prosecution said the 16-year-old victim used to work at the restaurant and was 28 weeks pregnant. In the arraignment, Vazquez admitted to having sexual relations with the victim, including at the restaurant.

According to NPD, after they learned of the allegations, they began investigating and alleged Vazquez is the father.
