Boise State football unveils future non-conference agreements, date changes

The Broncos' 2026 slate now features Oregon, Memphis, South Dakota and Western Michigan. Future matchups with Houston and Washington have changed dates.

BOISE, Idaho — Boise State football on Tuesday announced two new future non-conference agreements and date changes for previously scheduled matchups with Houston and Washington.

A single-game agreement brings South Dakota to Albertsons Stadium on Sept. 19, 2026. The battle on The Blue follows 2026 contests at Oregon on Sept. 5 and against Memphis on Sept. 12 in Boise.

The Broncos also added a home-and-home series with Western Michigan, starting with a trip to Kalamazoo on Sept. 26, 2026. The Mid-American Conference program is scheduled to visit the City of Trees on Sept. 22, 2029.

Boise State and Houston have agreed to move the dates of the series, with the Cougars coming to Albertsons Stadium on Sept. 14, 2030, in the first-ever meeting between the teams. The Broncos are set to play in the Lone Star State on Aug. 30, 2031.

The previously scheduled 2029 showdown at Washington is shifting by one week, moving to Sept. 15 instead of Sept. 22, according to Tuesday's announcement.
